A skilled craftsperson who efficiently sets up and operates precision metal cutting and grinding machines such as lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders. They fit and assemble parts to make or repair other machines, applying the knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, material properties, layout, and machining procedures. They also study specifications, such as blueprints, sketches, descriptions of parts to be manufactured or replaced, and check their work with precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers.

J.D.B.,Ltd. is owned and operated by Dave Baker. The JDB team's philosophy is that everyone applies each of their talents as a team, allowing us to cover a wide variety of machining. Everyone on the team has experience in CNC (computer numerically controlled) programming, set-up, prototypes, reverse engineering, milling, grinding, turning, & inspection reports. They also stay up-to-date on the programming software.
